Position Overview

As a Lead Systems Architect, you will take charge of the design, documentation, construction, testing, deployment, and maintenance of essential system images while addressing technical challenges to create a significant impact across various sectors. Our MCS team plays a vital role in delivering essential engineering, IT support, and infrastructure management, and your contribution will be crucial in ensuring seamless user accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize tools, equipment, and methodologies for repairing computing devices and associated peripherals.
  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment within established procedural frameworks.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Provide recommendations for potential security, performance, and system enhancements for the desktop environment.
  • Address issues related to application support, password resets, and deliver tier 1 and 2 assistance to end users.
  • Oversee and coordinate direct customer interactions through various communication channels.

Qualifications for Success:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, including user account management and basic understanding.
  • Experience with VMWare products, including:
    • VMware vSphere
    • VMware Horizon
    • Installation and configuration
    • Troubleshooting
    • VDI image creation and upkeep
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 or newer, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Possession of an MCSE 2012/2016/2019 certification.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • A passion for diagnosing desktop issues and providing support and maintenance for the end-user desktop experience, encompassing both hardware and software.
