Job Overview

The Building People are in search of a qualified Senior Architect to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Define the requirements for the system architecture.
  • Translate program requirements into a comprehensive architectural vision that addresses these needs.
  • Design, strategize, and execute system and network architectures that are efficient, scalable, resilient, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure and security to enhance uptime and safeguard data integrity.
  • Set the strategic direction for operating systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive logs, documentation, and reports of activities.
  • Supervise the personnel and equipment responsible for switching, routing, and, in certain cases, perimeter devices such as firewalls.
  • Develop and assess key performance metrics.
  • Ensure the establishment, documentation, and enforcement of governance standards and procedures.
  • Guarantee compliance of the infrastructure with security and data privacy regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of infrastructure, analyze performance metrics, and propose enhancements.
  • Provide prompt infrastructure support during outages or issues, ensuring minimal disruption.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in application development with significant SaaS product implementations.
  • Preferred: Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) such as Archibus, TRIRIGA, Nuvolo, ServiceNow WSD, Maximo, and/or FMSystems.

Required Education

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Must meet Federal & DoD Government security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, and agency-specific screenings.
  • At least 2 years of successful remote work experience with minimal supervision.
  • Experience operating within a NIST compliant security environment and supporting all client-required cybersecurity data and operational processes. Commitment to safeguarding company, colleague, and customer data.
  • Ability to work from a home office equipped with adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
