The
Senior Systems Architect
is tasked with conducting comprehensive systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and deployment of highly intricate applications that necessitate a profound understanding of both administrative and technical competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and engage in all stages of system development, focusing on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).
- Employ advanced business or technical principles and methodologies to tackle complex technical challenges and develop automated engineering solutions.
- Create and compile technical reports and associated documentation, including charts and graphs to illustrate findings.
- Prepare and present briefings and presentations as required by contractual obligations.
- May be designated as Task Leader, ensuring the quality of services provided for specific tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Over 10 years of experience in secure information environments (e.g., SIPR, SAP, JWICS, etc.).
- DoD /8140-M IASAE III certification.
- TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with ICD 503 and the government’s assessment and authorization processes.
- Proficient in networks, computer components, system protocols, and COTS technology.
- Understanding of system methodologies, including client/server, web hosting, web content servers, policy servers, directory servers, firewalls, WAN, MAN, LAN, switches, and routers.
- Experience with software integration of COTS and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) products.
- Background in technical project management.
