We are seeking a Systems Architect Intermediate to contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of supply chain and maintenance operations through the creation of a web-based common user interface. This interface will facilitate an integrated and distributed logistics capability, empowering leaders to efficiently plan, manage, execute, and oversee logistics operations in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

The Systems Architect will:
  • Deliver technical assistance for engineering development tasks, including the execution of various Systems Engineering and Test Engineering initiatives.
  • Establish a testing framework and outline testing parameters based on input from the product design team, while monitoring the process using the testing framework, maintaining detailed progress records, and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Support the revision of existing Systems Engineering processes and contribute to the formulation of policies regarding the adoption of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles across the portfolio.
  • Lead and assist in the development, execution, review, and updating of Requirements Traceability Matrices, System Subsystem Specifications, Test Plans, Test Scripts, and Test Reports, while overseeing verification and validation processes.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) and Master Test Strategy (MTS) artifacts.
  • Collaborate with government and development teams to implement and integrate Agile framework concepts, activities, and processes.
  • Support System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) across a portfolio of programs, demonstrating knowledge of the relevant review processes.
  • Provide strategic insights and analyze requirements through white papers, Business Case Analyses (BCAs), technology and business roadmaps, and by engaging in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) as required.
  • Ensure that Systems Engineering processes and disciplines are seamlessly integrated into Program Operations; conduct engineering analyses and assessments of proposed requirement changes, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), design issues, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Prepare or assist in T&E status reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Present programmatic and technical information to executive-level clients.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience providing advanced Systems Engineering expertise in enterprise-level environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with testing support tools such as IBM Jazz or JIRA.
  • Experience conducting system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE).
  • Experience in developing and delivering executive-level briefs, point papers, and white papers.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to adapt and reprioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Understanding of enterprise systems and service technologies, including large-scale systems, operating systems, software applications, Active Directory, SAN/WAN technologies, Windows Server environments, server virtualization, and commercial cloud services.
