Iron Mountain is searching for a proactive Proposal Management Specialist to join our vibrant Public Sector Proposal Team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our U.S. Federal and SLED Sales teams, engaging with exciting proposal initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit compliant customer responses to RFQs and ITBs within the specified timeframe.
  • Assist with qualification and information requests, including basic company details, proposal forms, resumes, or project information.
  • Support Iron Mountain's unsolicited proposal process, including document preparation and opportunity submission into the company’s contract management system.
  • Help the Sales Team verify customer requirements with technical experts.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to enter opportunities into the contract management system promptly.
  • Coordinate resource availability with the Proposal Team's Manager and track assignments using proposal tracking tools.
  • Facilitate access to proposal areas, collaboration sites/tools, and proposal content libraries.
  • Maintain a database of customer portal log-in information and proposal tracking resources.
  • Assist in the upkeep of core proposal resources.

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Adobe Professional, and preferably experienced with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to multitask, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry proposal best practices in government contracting (i.e., Shipley or APMP).
  • Understanding of the government acquisition process and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Responsive (formerly RFPIO) database or similar proposal automation software.
  • Ability to work independently.
