About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Louisiana Medical Management Corporation. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping us provide exceptional medical services to our clients in the medical legal industry.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the best possible images.
  • Implement protocols for patient safety and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce clear and precise diagnostic images.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain patient records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members.
  • Follow HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • State licensure as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, where applicable.
  • Excellent patient service skills and the ability to explain complex procedures to patients.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and infection control procedures.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, including the use of electronic health record systems.
