Human Resource Dimensions is seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist for a dynamic client in Atlanta, Georgia. This role will play a vital part in managing the company's employee compensation, benefits, payroll programs, policies, processes, and tools.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with Workday and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities:- Administer all aspects of the company's benefit programs, including leaves of absence.
- Collaborate closely with the benefits broker to obtain accurate quotes from providers. Analyze data provided by the broker and make recommendations regarding vendors, carriers, and plan changes based on quotes, available benefits, and past experience.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Provide clear and concise information to employees about benefit changes, including eligibility, coverage, provisions, and the annual open enrollment process.
- Facilitate the accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other relevant service providers.
- Monitor the activities of administrators and insurance carriers to guarantee compliance with plan requirements and accurate billing practices.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HRIS data and module configurations.
- Ensure strict adherence to legal regulations governing compensation and benefits, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Provide support during internal and external plan audits.
- Administer compensation programs in a fair and consistent manner, adhering to the company's Compensation Philosophy, policies, processes, framework, and documented bonus plans.
- Stay informed about economic conditions, labor market trends, and other factors influencing competitive benefits and compensation packages.
- Continuously update knowledge and understanding of industry best practices in compensation and benefits.
- Provide HR data to the leadership team for informed decision-making.
- Take on additional duties and projects as assigned.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Five years of proven experience administering payroll, compensation, and benefits programs using Workday is essential.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, or payroll certification is highly preferred.
- A history of strong performance in an HR role is demonstrated.
- Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the HR department.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling clear articulation of positions and effective interaction with leaders and managers.
- Demonstrated leadership and expertise in compensation and benefits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
