Job Title: Sr. Compensation Analyst

Job Summary:

The Sr. Compensation Analyst will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that meet The Home Depot's objectives and needs. This role will evaluate and make recommendations for changes in the company's compensation programs, consult with HR clients or business partners to assist with compensation decisions or issues, and support day-to-day compensation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze compensation programs to ensure alignment with company objectives and industry benchmarks.
  • Consult with HR clients or business partners to provide guidance on compensation decisions and issues.
  • Support the development of compensation communications and approvals.
  • Prepare ad-hoc compensation analyses as requested by the team and business partners.
  • Perform in-depth market analysis of pay using numerous sources and contacts.
  • Responsible for survey process including determination of appropriate benchmark surveys, active participation in third-party industry meetings, data analysis, and data submission.
  • Responsible for life cycle of position and job title management including documenting, evaluating, establishing pay range, ensuring internal equity, creating job codes, approving and posting the job description.
  • Provide consulting to HR partners relating to process, systems support, and problem resolution.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of HR / finance / accounting or other professional analytical experience.
  • Ability to identify trends and resolve root cause of problems, such as systems issues, policy issues, etc.
  • Professional Certification in HR / finance / accounting (already obtained or in progress).
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint abilities.
  • Problem Solving Skills.
  • Planning Skills.
  • Research Skills.
  • Communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Project Management Skills.

Working Conditions:

This role is located in a comfortable indoor area and requires occasional travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of HR / finance / accounting or other professional analytical experience.
  • Ability to identify trends and resolve root cause of problems, such as systems issues, policy issues, etc.
  • Professional Certification in HR / finance / accounting (already obtained or in progress).

Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
