Senior Compensation Analyst

Human Resource Dimensions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing compensation analysis and support for employees of our manufacturing client located in Smyrna, GA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market pricing activities for assigned areas of responsibility using Market Pay, develop recommendations for new hires and promotions to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness, and communicate recommendations with HR Partners.
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of the Career Framework, responsible for maintaining documentation around job architecture/leveling guidance.
  • Provide support for the management of the company's Corporate Salary Structure, assist with modeling and cost analysis related to base salaries, analyze competitiveness of pay ranges/rates to market data and local conditions.
  • Assist in the development of regular reporting/dashboards for the company's compensation programs (Career Framework, Salary Structures, short-term incentive plan), analyze data and develop recommendations for improvement in processes and systems.
  • Assist in the administration of annual bonus process in Workday, including accrual calculations, final payment calculations based on financial results, producing annual pay plans and payment statements, and partnering with the Payroll department to process payments.
  • Partner with Workday Product team on Advanced Compensation processes and reporting.
  • Participate in ongoing pay equity audits across the company and U.S. business units, partner with Compensation leads in each business unit and outside consultants on the process.
  • Assist with the design of training and job aides to educate Human Resources Business Partners on compensation policies and procedures.
  • Research questions, interpret policies, and assist with review of compensation issues.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience as a Compensation Analyst.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, required.
  • Prior experience with Workday preferred.
  • Previous experience with online market pricing tool required.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employee compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expert Excel skills required and must be proficient with other MS Office Products: Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Direct experience with analyzing large, complex data sets and interacting with relational databases. Ability to develop recommendations to management levels.
