Product Development Engineer

ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and executing products in growth programs. Your expertise in chemical or packaging engineering will be essential in leading design, control, and analysis of experiments to evaluate changes to current products caused by changes to materials, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, development, testing, and execution of products in growth programs
  • Design, control, and analyze experiments to evaluate changes to current products
  • Provide guidance and assistance to the Quality Department staff as needed
  • Support product commercialization projects, project justification, and launch process for assigned product lines
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field
  • 1-2 years of technical service, process control, quality engineering, product development, or other related technical and/or manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Packaging Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of adhesives, barrier properties/technology of materials, and lamination processes
  • Project Management skills and ability to manage projects from start to finish
