Sovereign Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to spearhead an Automation Engineering initiative at our facility. This role encompasses the installation, commissioning, validation, process implementation, and data management of 8-10 new capital equipment pieces for our production line.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in complex automation integration, managing projects with budgets exceeding $1.5 million per machine, and will act as the primary authority on-site.

This position involves overseeing the entire process from concept to completion, providing recommendations for subsequent steps, and delivering critical updates to senior management.



Reason for Hiring:
Due to current project demands, our team lacks the necessary bandwidth and expertise to support this level of initiative effectively.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred)
- 5-8+ years of experience in manufacturing automation, specifically as an expert in automation integration for production line equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting automation programs and PLC ladder logic
- Experience in implementing and validating new automation machinery
- Familiarity with production machines valued at $1.5 million or more

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NSF water testing
- Bilingual in Spanish
