Job Summary

Walterscheid Powertrain Group is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for improving product cost and quality by developing and maintaining the optimum sequence of manufacturing or assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet or exceed product specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Design and implement gaging and inspection procedures to ensure product quality.
  • Provide technical support to machine operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality products.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring manufacturing problems.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to comply with ISO9000, ISO14000, and OHSAS18000 standards.
  • Train and develop the skills and knowledge of fellow manufacturing engineers, machine operators, and others.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing drawing specifications, including GD&T terminology.
  • Ability to specify manufacturing processes appropriate to tolerances required.
  • Pro E and Auto Cad experience.
