This role is designed for a Physical Therapist possessing an active license in Alaska, with a focus on Pediatric care. Candidates must also have completed COVID-19 vaccination.
The primary objective is to conduct physical therapy assessments and deliver treatments that enhance patients' functional capabilities across various HexaQuEST Rehabilitation Services environments. Adherence to healthcare standards, licensure mandates, and the professional guidelines set forth by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy services to patients.
- Educate healthcare staff on physical therapy-related matters.
- Deliver patient and family education.
- Assist with administrative responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications:
- A master's or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- Clinical experience across diverse settings.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal physiology and effective treatment methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
The therapist should be adaptable to work in a variety of environments, including hospitals, clinics, educational institutions, and community outreach programs, with potential travel to remote areas as needed.
