Beverage Operations Manager

Service ExcellenceLead bar service, develop, coach, and consistently execute service standards. Impact service by being on the floor during peak times, earning the team's confidence by running smooth shifts. Exemplify professionalism and enlightened hospitality in all interactions, especially in challenging situations. Ensure consistent execution of steps of service using tools like shopper reports and guest feedback.
Performance and Talent DevelopmentDevelop strong team relationships by demonstrating a strong work ethic and willingness to assist each team member. Clearly communicate expectations and hold individuals accountable. Provide timely, positive, and constructive feedback to the team, documenting when necessary. Actively recruit top-tier talent, treating potential employees with the same hospitality and respect as employees and guests. Execute training programs consistently for hourly employees, taking charge of self-improvement and professional growth by seeking performance feedback and educational opportunities.

Lead by example, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and initiative in daily tasks by anticipating business needs and proactively addressing issues. Create a positive work environment by demonstrating no tolerance for negative behaviors, welcoming new ideas, and seeking feedback from the team and GM.
Manage Daily OperationsUnderstand, practice, and teach policies and procedures. Communicate major facility or operational emergencies to the GM immediately. Maintain a detailed daily log to communicate between shifts and prevent issues from recurring. Regularly conduct service team meetings, providing a safe, clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Ensure compliance with ABC laws, Health Standards, federal, and state laws, correcting all violations with a sense of urgency.
Manage Financial ResultsUnderstand and execute the restaurant plan to stay within department budgets and maximize profits. Actively manage inventory and waste to meet cost targets. Demonstrate proficiency in cash management, ensuring accurate check registers, cash outs, bank logs, inventory, and deposits according to standard. Effectively manage service labor, scheduling, and payroll, reaching out to the GM for support and training as needed.
This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of restaurant management experience and 5+ years of restaurant experience, including mixology, bartending, and classic cocktails. Developed communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The ability to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations is also required.
This role will spend 100% of the time standing or walking, requiring the ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours. The ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis is also necessary. Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment is required. Working nights, holidays, and weekends is expected.
