Beverage Operations Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

The Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the bar team to provide a world-class hospitality experience. This role requires a strong understanding of the restaurant's concept and operations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the bar team to ensure seamless service and high-quality beverages.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Manage inventory and control costs to meet budget targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement short- and long-term financial and operational goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of restaurant management experience and 5+ years of restaurant experience, including mixology, bartending, and classic cocktails.
  • Developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of upscale or fine dining service and sales skills.
  • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate multiple levels of employees.

Working Conditions:

  • 100% of the time standing or walking.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
