Position Summary:
As the Head of Systems Operations, you will be instrumental in defining and enhancing the Systems framework at Little Sleepies. Your primary responsibility will involve the deployment of new systems while continuously seeking enhancements post-implementation. This role will focus on managing diverse projects essential for the business's growth and ensuring top-notch service delivery to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute significantly to the development and maintenance of the various systems utilized by the organization.
- Oversee the execution of the Systems roadmap, managing both internal and external resources while optimizing all operational systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert for specific systems, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Lead the creation of centralized technical and operational documentation, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed on system usage.
- Manage the Systems Managers, ensuring the team is well-equipped to support the organization.
- Encourage team development through coaching and identifying areas for improvement.
- Work alongside system managers and third-party support teams to address recurring issues and devise effective solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Program Manager on ongoing projects.
- Proactively identify the need for changes, diagnosing underlying issues and presenting solutions to leadership.
- Guide the implementation of new tools, processes, or features within the systems domain.
- Assist senior stakeholders in strategic direction and prioritization.
- Facilitate process improvements by mediating internal decisions and sharing best practices.
- Support the procurement process for vendors and service providers.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in technology, systems, or IT roles within the eCommerce sector, particularly in a direct-to-consumer retail environment.
- Proven experience in managing ERP system implementation projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities to guide teams and ensure project accountability.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
- Expertise in resource and budget management to guarantee project success.
- Strong problem-solving skills to navigate project-related challenges.
- Experience in managing integration platform implementation projects.
- Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Adept at fostering innovation and problem-solving within the Systems team.
- Proven track record of delivering various projects, including system implementations and product enhancements.
- Willingness to work onsite a minimum of three days a week.
