Head Start Operations Manager

Crystal Stairs, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations & Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Head Start leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of all Head Start facilities, ensuring compliance with Performance Standards, and coordinating with various departments to achieve program goals.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate technology, including database systems, program monitoring, and compliance.
- Oversee program information reports, including program planning, recordkeeping, and reporting.
- Manage eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance for direct-operated programs.
- Oversee facilities and maintenance operations at all Head Start sites, ensuring compliance with Performance Standards.
- Work closely with the Head Start management team to review, secure, and monitor leases.
- Ensure that supplies and equipment are readily available to staff.
- Maintain communication with the Program Director and other Head Start governing bodies.
- Monitor the Head Start Program budget and coordinate departmental and interdepartmental funding with Program Managers.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university, Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years in administration, program design, and management, and business management in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of Child Care Licensing Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards and best practices related to operations, compliance, contract management, facilities, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of overall program planning and practices in early childhood development.
- Knowledge of general business practices, including supervisory practices, administrative basics, general financials, and risk management.
