We are in search of a Finance Strategy Lead to support our Next Generation Firewall business unit. This position will report to the CFO of the Strata Business Unit.

In collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Operations teams, you will offer insightful and trusted guidance to leadership on financial and broad-based business matters related to both short and long-term strategic planning and performance monitoring.


The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and enjoys spearheading financial initiatives while collaborating with a diverse range of talents in a fast-paced setting.

Your Impact

- Serve as a key financial partner to the Senior Vice President of Firewall

- Establish a significant presence within the leadership team, recognized as an essential member

- Engage in business reviews with senior leadership, effectively conveying key messages through strong presentation skills

- Conduct OPEX/CAPEX forecasting and variance analysis

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of business models, guiding proposals for pricing and compensation incentives

- Recommend benchmarks for assessing financial and operational performance, developing dashboards to track essential metrics and drive business decisions

- Provide financial insights to evaluate risks and opportunities in meeting financial commitments, establishing analytics that enable proactive decision-making

- Design and implement financial processes that yield consistent results linking operational performance to the P&L, both in revenue and margins

- Collaborate across multifunctional teams to foster a culture of global best practices

- Lead financial activities during various cycles, including monthly close, quarterly reviews, forecasts, and annual planning

- Work closely with central and corporate finance teams to ensure alignment and communication of financial impacts from business decisions.

Your Experience

- Minimum of 5 years in progressively responsible finance or accounting roles

- Diverse experience across various complex business models

- Preferred experience in the Application SaaS and Software industry

- Knowledge of Cost Accounting is advantageous

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution; MBA or Master's degree preferred

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels

- Strong executive presence and presentation skills, capable of succinctly presenting financial plans to senior management

- A collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional and global environments

- Ability to attract, retain, and develop global talent to support company objectives and promote diversity

- Skilled in influencing and mediating differing opinions at all organizational levels

- Demonstrates sound judgment and timely decision-making

- Capable of being both a leader and a hands-on contributor

- Translates data into actionable insights

- Proven track record of prioritizing, managing expectations, and delivering commitments

- Naturally curious and analytical, with the ability to simplify complex issues

The compensation for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $147,400/yr to $238,600/yr.
