Your Career

Palo Alto Networks presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and driven Finance Manager specializing in Sales Finance to become an integral part of our organization. In this capacity, you will report to the Senior Finance Manager of Prisma Cloud and collaborate with the Prisma Cloud Finance Team and business stakeholders to formulate and execute our financial strategies, support strategic decision-making, provide financial insights, and enhance operational efficiency.

This role involves partnering with both Theater and Central Finance teams, while regularly collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and Sales Operations. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational and communication abilities, and a talent for fostering process improvements and insights across all key areas of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

Your Impact

  • Develop and refine SaaS metrics - you will enhance existing KPIs and create new ones to ensure they are relevant to the business and capable of analyzing trends and changes against industry standards.
  • Oversee all essential financial metrics for Prisma Cloud, including ARR, Bookings, Revenue, Margins, Renewal Rate, and Customer Lifetime Value - you will manage the processes, construct financial models using Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or other platforms to establish fully automated systems, while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Craft visual presentations - your analytical, storytelling, and creative skills will be invaluable for our monthly and quarterly performance review presentations, as well as other tailored business presentations for senior management.
  • Act as a Strategist - you will have numerous opportunities to delve deeper into the business, providing actionable insights and recommendations through data analysis.
  • Collaborate across functions (e.g., Theater finance, India COE team, IT, Customer Success, Sales Ops, etc.) to continuously enhance metrics alignment, consistency, data integrity, and automation.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent military experience is required.
  • An MBA, CPA, or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
  • 5+ years of relevant FP&A and business analysis experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Comprehension of the drivers and economics of a SaaS business model.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and familiarity with financial systems and data visualization tools (e.g., SFDC, SAP BPC, Tableau, Einstein Analytics).
  • Ability to prioritize business needs, adapt to rapid changes, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in merging, enhancing, and analyzing large datasets using technologies (e.g., SQL, R, Python) is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with a self-motivated, proactive, organized, and positive approach.
