Position Overview

The Internal Audit Manager for Dometic Americas is responsible for overseeing internal audit functions throughout the region, excluding the Marine sector. This role reports to the Global Supervisor of Internal Audit and maintains a collaborative relationship with the CFO of Dometic Americas.

Core Objectives

The primary aim of the Internal Audit Function is twofold:

  1. To deliver independent assurance to the Dometic Board of Directors (Audit Committee).
  2. To serve as an independent business advisor to Group Senior Management, in alignment with the Internal Audit Charter sanctioned by the Board.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute defined audits as outlined in the annual audit plan, maintaining independence and integrity in accordance with International IIA Standards.
  • Organize and prioritize workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of audit activities, including follow-up to verify implementation of corrective actions.
  • Gather, scrutinize, and validate information regarding the organization’s systems and processes through document reviews and interviews with personnel.
  • Formulate recommendations for enhancements to processes and systems aimed at minimizing risks, boosting performance, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Draft audit reports that clearly document the audit process and findings, ensuring comprehensibility for all stakeholders.
  • Assist in the investigation of fraud and corruption incidents.
  • Engage in projects and conferences to bolster overall control measures.
Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Internal Audit, preferably from a reputable audit firm, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of internal controls and auditing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel (25-50%).
  • Strong financial and business insight.
