We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Outposts team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and existing systems, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. They will also have a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, including AWS services and architecture.
As a Software Development Engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building new features to improving existing ones. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to drive innovation and growth.
Responsibilities- Design and develop new and existing systems, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to drive innovation and growth
- Work on a wide range of projects, from building new features to improving existing ones
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following best practices and industry standards
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Preferred qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
