Job Description



We are seeking a skilled Senior Contract Negotiator and Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing contracts that meet the needs of our clients. This will involve working closely with clients to identify their requirements, developing contract proposals, and negotiating agreements.



The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract procurement and negotiation, as well as strong business acumen and analytical skills. They will also be able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.



Required Skills and Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law or closely related field;
  • IACCM (International Association for Contract & Commercial Management) Practitioner Certification;
  • Well-developed skills in planning and negotiating;
  • Ability to analyze various factors, and use good judgement to make sound recommendations and decisions;
  • Proficient with business software applications;
  • Typically, at least eight (8) years of extensive professional experience in contract procurement activities or closely related functions such as negotiator, engineer, business administrator, construction engineer or an attorney in commercial practice.

Others



This role requires occasional travel outside of normal work locations in the US and occasionally internationally, in the course of contract development efforts including prequalification of contractors and negotiation of contracts, amendments and change orders. Additionally, tours, and inspections of project sites, vendor facilities, warehouses and material yards, aircraft and ocean vessels may be required.
