Procurement Specialist

Tallgrass is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Professional to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for implementing and executing our materials procurement strategy, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Source and negotiate agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement plans
- Monitor and analyze procurement metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPSM or CPIM certification
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Inventory Control, Requisition, and Procurement modules
- Experience with e-sourcing, CLM, and spend analytics applications
