Executive Director, Value-Based Contracting

This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in negotiating and managing complex contracts with healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in value-based contracting and be able to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate and execute contracts with large and complex healthcare systems, including hospitals and physician groups.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize contract performance and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement value-based contract relationships that align with business objectives.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations to enhance contract performance.
- 5-7 years of experience in healthcare contracting or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Experience working in the Texas Medicaid market.
- Knowledge of value-based contracting principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, CVS Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
