Field Engineer

At AppleOne Employment Services, we're seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the success of our heavy civil structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee production scheduling, handle project submittals and RFI's, and track production and inventory, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinating and Supervising: Coordinate and supervise varying work schedules, including day and night work.
  • Value Engineering: Draft value engineering change proposals and submit daily reports and progress billings.
  • Project Schedule Updates: Prepare project schedule updates and work closely with Project Managers, Subcontractors, Suppliers, DOT/Public Works Representatives, and other Prime Contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical engineering, or construction management. Other majors may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Skills: Excellent computer skills, including strong Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.

Other Important Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work as a team and work without direct supervision.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
