About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at EUV Tech. As a key member of our Field Service Engineering team, you will play a critical role in providing support for the installation and servicing of our products in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site installation, servicing, and repair of products in the field
  • Own customer relationship; single point of contact for all customer actions/communications
  • Instruct and train customers on the operation and maintenance of products
  • Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits
  • Work in a cleanroom and follow all customer protocols
  • Engage with internal technical subject matter experts when needed after initial troubleshooting and summarizing the issue
  • Data analysis
  • Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems
  • Control system analysis & troubleshooting
  • Documentation (technical documentation generation)
  • Field support of instrumentation (domestic and internationally)
  • Integrated system assembly
Qualifications
  • Minimum education of an engineering Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or related software
  • Experience troubleshooting automated control systems, including data acquisition, robotics, IO, industrial communication, and machine vision
  • Assembly skills (electrical/mechanical)
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing ultra-high vacuum systems
  • Experience working in a cleanroom and following all customer protocols
  • Semiconductor equipment experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage demanding customer requests and prioritize activities independently
  • Understanding of networking principles and concepts
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Eligibility to legally work in the United States, and to travel internationally for work
