Position Overview

The Azure Security Solutions Architect will be responsible for engineering and providing advanced support for the Azure platform and its associated services. The ideal candidate will showcase a robust technical background, with expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure Platform Services. This role requires the ability to assess, design, and support solutions utilizing various Azure platform components, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and support Azure environments for clients.
  • Draft comprehensive assessment, design, migration, and operational support documentation.
  • Offer technical guidance to project teams throughout managed services engagements.
  • Serve as a top-tier escalation point for critical issues within customer environments.
  • Conduct technical deep dives and perform root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to the design and development of proprietary monitoring and remote management tools.
  • Manage and mentor Analyst and Consultant level team members, providing performance feedback and career guidance.

Technical Expertise Required

  • Proficient in deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting Azure infrastructure.
  • Experience in migrating on-premises environments to Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Networking design and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Modern Authentication and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Understanding of Azure AD and Conditional Access policies.
  • Expertise in the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Knowledge of Azure Management and Governance best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Security Center, including policy deployment and audit log review.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and IT technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as AZ-900, MS-500, AZ-104, and AZ-500 are advantageous.
