Position Summary:

The PC Network Support Technician serves as a crucial point of contact within the IT department, providing essential support to internal clients. This role involves direct interaction with users to resolve technical issues and facilitate communication across various divisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical assistance for server and desktop environments, ensuring optimal functionality for users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, while implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with established standards for system software and documentation.
  • Educate users on the effective use of PC-related technologies, including software and hardware.
  • Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, addressing any concerns proactively.
  • Participate in team meetings and complete required training sessions.
  • Travel to various locations as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on both hardware and software systems.
  • Provide mentorship to new team members on troubleshooting and installation procedures.

  • Familiarity with Apple devices, including iOS and macOS, is advantageous.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience in an IT role.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite.
  • Experience with computer hardware configuration and repair.
  • Understanding of Ethernet networking principles.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure standards and best practices.
  • Experience with Active Directory and various Windows operating systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
