Key Responsibilities- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Utilize your electromechanical skills to deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Install and Troubleshoot Vacuum Pumps and Abatement Systems: Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vacuum pumps and abatement systems to maintain and increase revenue for our service and sales divisions.
- Participate in Site Safety Programs: Contribute to creating a zero-hazard environment by participating in site safety programs and adhering to all site fab and Subfab protocol requirements.
- Develop Customer Relationships: Work professionally and develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their expectations.
- Understand Electrical Schematics and Mechanical Drawings: Demonstrate the ability to comprehend detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to perform your duties effectively.
- Use Test Equipment: Understand and utilize various test meters, hand tools, and power tools to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Work Collaboratively: Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, and work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Associate degree preferred (full military equivalent may substitute for AS degree).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor vacuum pump and abatement systems.
- Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic: Possess a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic, and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence.
- Self-Starter and Problem-Solver: Be a self-starter who can set priorities, demonstrate initiative, and exercise good independent judgment when appropriate.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent customer interfacing and communication skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Physical Demands: Be able to walk up to 5 miles per day, be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, and perform tasks that require bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, crouching, kneeling in confined spaces, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
