Key Responsibilities: The HR Specialist will provide essential support across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, compensation, and HRIS management. Specific duties include:

  • Utilizing various networks and resources to attract and retain top talent.
  • Conducting background checks, drug screenings, and verifying eligibility of team members.
  • Coordinating the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience for new hires.
  • Managing and resolving employee relations issues through thorough investigations and advising management on resolutions.
  • Assisting in the administration of wage and salary programs, including performance evaluations.
  • Providing support for special projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Experience in employee relations investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media recruiting.
  • Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; UKG experience is a plus.
