Position Overview
The Head of Case Management Services is accountable for the strategic planning, oversight, and administration of the Case Management Program at Salem Hospital, Inc. This role encompasses the development and management of a skilled team, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Social Workers (SWs), and non-clinical personnel. Key responsibilities include evaluating and enhancing case management competencies and outcomes, overseeing policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with essential model components that influence patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely, and cost-effective care to patients and their families.
2. Develop and supervise staff, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
3. Maintain a strong focus on data analytics to inform decision-making and improve clinical and financial outcomes.
4. Ensure effective communication with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications
Required:
- Proven analytical skills to facilitate strategic planning and problem-solving.
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong administrative skills for staff supervision, planning, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in data analytics and a comprehensive understanding of clinical and financial performance metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of individuals from various backgrounds.
- Effective communication skills tailored to the needs of the patient population and other stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate agility in response to change.
- Strong visual, verbal, and auditory communication skills.
- Fluent in English and proficient in computer applications, including hospital-specific software and Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 7 years of acute clinical experience.
- RN with a Master's Degree and a current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Preferred:
- At least 5 years of progressive management experience with a track record of achieving goals.
- Demonstrated leadership and change management experience, with a preference for candidates with case management experience.
