The Role

We are seeking a Commercial Security Executive to promote and sell our security services and technology within an assigned territory, leveraging relationships and closing new business for Johnson Controls Security while ensuring customer retention. The ideal candidate will be a skilled sales professional with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, able to present to senior-level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations.

Key responsibilities include securing profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing, and discontinued customers, maintaining an in-depth knowledge of our complete line of products/services and customers' issues and needs, identifying prospects using creative lead-generating techniques, and conducting post-installation follow-ups to ensure commitments were met and affirm customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry, with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quota. Must be able to work a full-time schedule, available for local travel, and have excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $54,200-72,300 (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). In addition, this role offers a competitive Sales Commission Plan that takes into account project, quarterly, and annual margin.
