About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team at the Bureau of Mental Health. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide critical support to our leadership team and ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule meetings and appointments on behalf of the Assistant Commissioner
  • Maintain accurate lists of contacts and distribution lists for recurring meetings
  • Assist with preparing meeting materials, including copying, collating, and recording meeting attendance
  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, drafting correspondence, and sending and receiving faxes and emails
  • Provide administrative support to the Bureau's Consumer Advisory Board, including recruiting new members, maintaining communication, and scheduling meetings
  • Ensure the bureau has equitable access to supplies and office equipment
  • Maintain supplies inventory by evaluating stock, anticipating needs, and expediting orders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
  • 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory experience, including supervision of staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty
