Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is part of the Office of Information Technology Service Delivery and reports directly to the Telecommunications Manager.


Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide both basic and advanced technical assistance in various domains:

1. A minimum of five (5) years in managing and supporting audio-visual conferencing systems, specifically using Webex. This includes providing endpoint support and assisting users with both simple and complex audio-visual needs.

2. Five (5) years of experience in telecommunications, which encompasses switches, routers, Centrex systems, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP). Additionally, candidates should have five (5) years of experience with iOS and cellular network operations, particularly utilizing Workspace One/Airwatch.

3. Experience as a project stakeholder for small to large-scale initiatives, totaling five (5) years.

This position demands strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to cultivate robust professional relationships with clients across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high productivity levels and possess excellent organizational capabilities.

Training and Certifications: Completion of Webex Hub Professional training and certifications is mandatory within 60 days of employment.

Travel to various agency locations will be necessary for providing technical support, installing equipment, and conducting training sessions.

IT or related field experience: Required. 5 years.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Certifications: Webex Hub Professional training and certifications are required and must be completed within 60 days of employment.

Audio-visual conference management and support using Webex: Required. 5 years.

Telecommunications experience including switches, routers, Centrex systems, and VOIP: Required. 5 years.

iOS experience and cellular network operations using Workspace One/Airwatch: Required. 5 years.

Project stakeholder experience for small to large-scale projects: Required. 5 years.
