Role Summary:
This role is part of the Office of Information Technology Service Delivery, under the guidance of the Telecommunications Manager.
The Telecom Specialist 3 will provide a range of technical assistance, from basic to advanced, in various domains. Candidates should possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing and supporting audio-visual conferencing solutions, particularly with Webex. Responsibilities include offering endpoint support and aiding users with both fundamental and intricate audio-visual issues.
Additionally, candidates must have five (5) years of experience in telecommunications, encompassing switches, routers, Centrex systems, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP). Proficiency in iOS and cellular network operations, particularly with Workspace One/Airwatch, is also required, along with five (5) years of experience in project stakeholder roles, which may involve projects of varying scales.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to cultivate robust professional relationships with clients across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high productivity levels and possess exceptional organizational capabilities. Certification and training in Webex Hub Professional are mandatory and should be completed within the initial onboarding period. Occasional travel to various agency locations may be necessary for technical support, equipment installations, and training sessions.
