About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Team Leader to join our team at Target. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of HR Experts to deliver exceptional HR services to our store teams, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment that supports our guests and team members.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that drive business growth, improve employee engagement, and enhance our company culture.
  • Collaborate with store leaders to understand business priorities and develop HR solutions that meet their needs.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to HR Experts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage and analyze HR data to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in HR leadership or management, preferably in a retail or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws, including federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with store leaders and team members.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues.
