About the Opportunity

Pacific Life is seeking a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in providing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and functionalities essential for supporting enterprise infrastructure and business applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement PAM strategies and roadmaps, aligning them with corporate strategy, industry security trends, and regulatory demands.
  • Collaborate with IT leaders, technologists, and support teams to ensure clear definition of requirements and adherence to established timelines.
  • Enhance and monitor the maturity of IAM PAM solutions, focusing on increased adoption, speed to market, and resilience.
How You Will Make a Difference
  • Establish a comprehensive PAM strategy and long-term plan covering all aspects of PAM.
  • Design, architect, and troubleshoot PAM solutions while ensuring automation, self-service, and resiliency.
  • Identify risks, manage issues, and drive timely delivery of PAM platforms.
  • Lead organizational change by promoting a shared purpose, facilitating awareness, communication, and training.
  • Contribute to information security strategy and architecture development.
The Experience We Are Looking For

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on IAM PAM platforms such as CyberArk, Thycotic, TPAM, and Netwrix. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of automating PAM processes and familiarity with Just-in-Time Administration, Zero Trust, and Multi-Factor Authentication.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience in J2EE/Java applications, web services, databases, Agile methodologies, and influencing senior management. Ability to manage multiple complex activities within tight deadlines and showcase continuous improvement is also essential.

What Will Set You Apart
  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, and knowledge of ISO and NIST security standards preferred.
