Job Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is essential in supporting the operations of the District Attorneys Office (DA Office) by delivering sophisticated data management services. The position involves the collection, organization, and analysis of data necessary for grant reporting and documentation. The Grants Administrator will monitor achievements, objectives, and metrics for the Survivor and Victim Services Division (SVSD) within the DA Office. This includes coordinating multidisciplinary case reviews and additional services as directed by the leadership of the DA Office. The role also entails assisting in the identification, composition, and reporting of grants to bolster the DA Office's initiatives. Furthermore, the administrator will oversee the data gathering and reporting processes for all grants managed by the DA Office, while also supporting communication efforts and fostering partnerships both internally and externally.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, along with four (4) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates with certifications such as Certified Grant Administrator (CGA), Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Grant Professional Certification (GPC), or similar credentials.

Due to the sensitive nature of this position, the selected candidate must successfully complete an initial criminal background check and continue to meet the standards set by the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) every two years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drafts grant proposals to secure funding for the DA Office.
  • Manages online grants management systems and performs data entry tasks.
  • Assists in the preparation and adherence to contracts and agreements related to grants and external funding, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and County regulations.
  • Supports both short-term and long-term planning and program execution.
  • Collects and documents data within the DA Office's database systems for various victim support services, ensuring data integrity through quality assurance tasks.
  • Monitors DA Office program services, metrics, and outcomes for evaluation and mandatory statistical reporting.
  • Contributes to the development of forms, tracking tools, and other methods for data collection and retrieval.
  • Oversees database entries, resolves discrepancies, and aids in establishing tracking procedures.
  • Provides requested information and compiles reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis as per DA Office requirements and grant obligations.
  • Creates and implements analytical tools such as statistical reports, graphs, and lists to clarify complex data.
  • Reviews source documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • May assist in developing content for the DA Office's website, publications, and other communication materials.
  • Facilitates multidisciplinary team meetings as needed; coordinates the execution of case action plans with partner agencies to ensure follow-through.
  • Conducts outreach to victims of crime post-adjudication, performing assessments to identify needs and screen for services.
  • Develops and maintains agreements and training for multidisciplinary partners.
