About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Apprentice Rigger at Edwards Moving and Rigging. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting our heavy hauling and specialized rigging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced professionals in various laborer activities, including operating equipment such as forklifts and skid steers.
  • Attach loads to rigging equipment using hand or power tools, ensuring safety and reliability.
  • Inspect and test rigging equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Operate machines or processes using control mechanisms or direct activity, utilizing hand or power tools, hydraulic tools, or precision measuring tools or equipment.

Requirements
  • Experience in heavy rigging, crane, construction, or heavy trucking is a plus.
  • Fluent English language skills for safety training and access to safety-sensitive environments.
  • Clean criminal record history and adherence to ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to travel extensively, with 150 to 200 nights per year.
  • Capacity to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
