Job Title: Administration Specialist

Canadian Solar Inc. is a leading global solar energy company seeking an experienced Administration Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Administration Specialist will provide administrative support to our Personnel Administration Department, handling daily office operations, coordinating travel, managing supplies, and assisting with onboarding. Ideal candidates have a college degree, 1+ year of administrative experience, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring prompt responses and redirection to appropriate personnel.
  • Support visitors to the site, providing a friendly and professional office environment.
  • Assist in completing administrative tasks, coordinating office functions, and ensuring smooth office operations.
  • Run reports and create slide decks to support business needs.
  • Arrange business travel, coordinate meeting arrangements, and track expenses.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, and expediting orders.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparation of office space and administrative setup.
  • Handle mail distribution, shipping, and receiving of packages.
  • Develop administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • College degree or above, human resources, psychology, or related majors preferred.
  • 1+ years of working experience in personnel administration.
  • 6+ months of experience in multinational manufacturing enterprises.
  • SAP, Microsoft Suite, and Outlook experience preferred.
  • Good sense of responsibility, proactive, and good communication skills.
  • Strong pressure resistance.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
