Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Prepress Utility Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing, checking color, and delivering inks used in the printing process. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the highest quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and stage inks according to press schedule requirements
  • Perform quality control checks on ink samples
  • Deliver inks to the press room in a timely manner
  • Color match inks at the presses
  • Maintain accurate records of ink usage
  • Responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing ink containers
  • Participate in on-the-job training and instruction to learn other job tasks
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in printing or color matching
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Basic computer skills and math skills
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools and differentiate colors well
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels and working with hazardous materials
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and move drums using a drum dolly
