Patient Care Specialist

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist for a contract position in a dialysis outpatient clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment information.
- Assist licensed nurses with pre and post-dialysis patient assessments and documentation.
- Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
- Report significant patient information or changes in condition to the supervisor.
- Participate in emergency operational procedures and initiate basic CPR measures as needed.
- 12 months of recent dialysis experience required.
- Certification as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) is mandatory.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Dialysis procedures and machine experience are essential.
- Successful completion of a training course in hemodialysis theory and practice is required.
- CPR Certification is necessary.
- High school degree or G.E.D. is the minimum educational requirement.
- Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques is preferred.
