Eaton's Engineering Service & Systems (EESS) Division is in search of a Training Specialist dedicated to enhancing our technical, safety, and power systems training initiatives. With the largest and most experienced team of field service professionals in the industry, we aim to further elevate our training programs.

Compensation: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $91,500 - $134,200. Please note that this salary range is a general guideline and actual salaries may vary based on skills, experience, and qualifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deliver, and facilitate both instructor-led and virtual training sessions focused on technical, safety, and power systems.
  • Collaborate with the EESS training department to support and coordinate training events, including logistics such as scheduling, travel, and equipment needs.
  • Create, maintain, and revise training materials, including curricula and lesson plans.
  • Work in partnership with EHS, HR, and Operations leaders to align training with safety, onboarding, and technical skill enhancement requirements.
  • Manage student and course evaluations, track costs, and contribute to continuous improvement of training programs.
  • Apply knowledge of safe electrical work practices as outlined in NFPA standard 70E and OSHA 1910 Subpart S.
  • Provide support for in-person training at various Eaton locations as required.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited institution, or a technical certification from an accredited trade school, or military equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in evaluating, testing, installing, or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without corporate sponsorship.
  • Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the specified locations.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with EESS training paths and safety certifications.
  • Over seven years of experience in the field of industrial and commercial power systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA standards related to electrical safety.
  • Advanced experience in power systems, relaying, or switchgear testing.

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of instructional methods and classroom presentation techniques.
  • Ability to build professional relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in developing training materials using Microsoft platforms and learning management systems.
  • Capability to adapt to new training delivery methods and implement changes effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift and set up demonstration equipment as required.
