- Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive the ELECTRA initiative, a collaborative effort between Power Products and Power Systems Divisions aimed at revolutionizing electrical power distribution frameworks across key sectors such as Data Centers, Marine & Ports, Semiconductor manufacturing, Mobility, New Energy, Engineering & Construction, Mining, Motor management, Healthcare, and Critical Infrastructure.
The Senior Systems Architect will:

  • Design cutting-edge architectures to enhance Schneider Electric's market position.
  • Engage in high-level dialogues with clients to identify both stated and latent needs.
  • Transform these needs into power systems architectures that leverage Schneider Electric's strengths and pave the way for future product advancements.
  • Provide expert support to our most valued clients and ecosystem partners in areas such as power systems, protection strategies (MV/LV), power automation, monitoring, and control.
  • Develop high-value materials to advocate and educate on Schneider Electric solutions through workshops, training sessions, research documents, webinars, and conference presentations.

- Business Engagement

  • Influence and support business initiatives through close relationships with end-users, particularly in strategic Cloud & Service Provider sectors.
  • Organize and deliver technical assistance to internal sales and tendering teams as requested by various segments.
  • Facilitate engagement and support for ecosystem partners, especially specifiers within the data center domain.

- Application Insights

  • Comprehend customer applications and processes, including key performance indicators, constraints, and stakeholder roles.
  • Participate in technical discussions with clients to gather current application requirements.
  • Provide insights into applications and customer needs to inform future roadmap development.
  • Foster technological innovation through experiments with clients and exploration of next-generation architectures.

- Expertise in Power Systems

  • Assist in defining optimized and competitive MV/LV power systems architectures based on Schneider Electric's offerings, while contributing to the development of innovative electrical distribution systems for the future.
  • Possess a robust understanding of power systems engineering, including network simulation, protection, AC & DC power electronics conversion, power quality, and reliability.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of Schneider Electric products (MV, LV, UPS, monitoring & control, relays) and familiarity with emerging energy technologies (BESS, fuel cells, etc.).
  • Create relevant studies and materials to promote our solutions, emphasizing differentiation and customer advantages.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of data center power system design.
  • Understand new energy landscape topics, including source management, load management, direct current, and power conversion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with 15+ years in electrical industry application development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design.
  • At least 3 years of experience collaborating with Cloud and Service Providers on Data Center design.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
  • PhD in Engineering is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Strategic Accounts.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills are essential.
