Job Summary and Qualifications

We are in search of a Patient Care Representative who excels in delivering expertise and is passionate about patient care. Our exceptional team is committed to supporting one another, and we are eager to welcome a remarkable individual who shares our dedication to meaningful patient service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely check-in of patients, ensuring adherence to all Web Check-in protocols.
  • Responding to incoming calls to the clinic, providing information or directing inquiries as necessary.
  • Accurate and timely verification of insurance information.
  • Following the occupational client's preference card and ensuring compliance with occupational procedures.
  • Reviewing patient documentation for completeness and ensuring collection of essential insurance and demographic data.
  • Completing the Daily Balance Checklist at the end of each shift, ensuring all payment forms are accounted for and documented.
  • Maintaining and updating patient records as required.
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
  • Ensuring a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Cross-training for other roles as needed.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.
Schedule:

Flexibility is essential, as workdays may vary. Availability is required seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.

We seek candidates with flexible schedules to accommodate weekdays, weekends, and holidays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care environment.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Preferred: Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a comparable role.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in operating phone systems and other office equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
