Position Summary and Qualifications

We are in search of a Patient Care Representative who excels in delivering exceptional patient care and expertise. Our dynamic team is committed to supporting one another, and we are eager to welcome a dedicated individual who shares our passion for meaningful patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently check-in patients, ensuring adherence to all Web Check-in protocols.
  • Handle incoming phone calls to the clinic, providing information or directing inquiries as necessary.
  • Accurately verify insurance information in a timely manner.
  • Follow the occupational client's preference card and ensure compliance with occupational procedures.
  • Review patient documentation for completeness and ensure collection of essential insurance and demographic data.
  • Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, ensuring all payment forms are accounted for and documented.
  • Maintain and update patient records as needed.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean and organized.
  • Participate in cross-training for other roles as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Schedule:

This position requires flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care environment.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar capacity is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is beneficial.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
