Job Summary and Qualifications

We are in search of a Patient Support Coordinator who excels in delivering exceptional service and advocates for patient well-being. Our dedicated team thrives on collaboration and is eager to welcome a remarkable individual who shares our passion for meaningful patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates patient check-in efficiently, ensuring adherence to all online check-in protocols.
  • Handles incoming calls to the facility, providing information or directing inquiries as necessary.
  • Confirms insurance details promptly and accurately.
  • Follows the occupational health client's preference guidelines and procedures.
  • Reviews patient documentation for completeness and ensures collection of essential insurance and demographic data.
  • Completes a Daily Reconciliation Checklist after each shift, ensuring all payment methods are accounted for and recorded.
  • Maintains patient records and updates information as required.
  • Assists with administrative duties such as organizing files, faxing, and scanning documents.
  • Ensures a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Participates in cross-training for various roles.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned.
Schedule:

Flexibility is essential, as workdays vary, requiring full availability seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.

We seek individuals with adaptable schedules, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a medical reception role.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous.
  • Proficient in operating phone systems and office equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
