Role Summary:As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be integral to our onboarding framework, facilitating a seamless transition for new employees into our company. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-employment screenings, gathering necessary documentation, and entering new hire data into our HRIS/UKG system. You will also assist with various administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of our HR department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct meetings with new employees to collect required documentation and ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure completion within a specified timeframe by actively tracking progress and maintaining communication with new hires.
- Accurately input new hire information into our HRIS/UKG/Payroll system on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with payroll schedules.
- Facilitate background checks and evaluate results to maintain compliance with company policies.
- Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, assisting with daily HR operations and serving as a backup for other HR roles as necessary.
- Uphold confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and regulations.
- Perform employment verifications and undertake additional tasks as needed to support the HR team.
