JOB SUMMARY
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Guest Relations Specialist to represent warmth and hospitality at The Cove Hotel.
This position transcends standard front desk responsibilities; it focuses on crafting extraordinary guest experiences and ensuring that every visit is unforgettable.
You will also oversee operations at our innovative contactless property, ensuring smooth and exceptional stays for our guests.
As the friendly face of The Cove Hotel, your role will leave a lasting impression on our visitors, making each interaction significant.
Your mission is to ensure that every guest feels valued, comfortable, and enchanted from the moment they arrive at our welcoming retreat.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and well-stocked manner.
- Greet and welcome guests with a sincere smile.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and patience.
- Manage incoming calls, redirecting or taking messages as necessary.
- Receive and distribute correspondence and packages.
- Promptly check, sort, and forward emails.
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
- Keep accurate records and files updated.
- Assist with additional tasks such as travel arrangements and scheduling.
- Oversee operations at our contactless property, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Guide guests throughout their stay, from check-in to check-out, ensuring their needs are met.
- Share local attractions and recommendations with guests.
- Take a proactive approach to operational needs, addressing guest requests and completing reports.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a front desk role or similar position.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and printers.
- Understanding of office management and basic bookkeeping.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- High School diploma; additional qualifications are advantageous.
