Job Summary

Salem Hospital, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator I to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, administrative support, and general office work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient service and administrative support to ensure the efficient flow of escorts, correspondence, and other materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized physical environment to promote a positive patient experience.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Participate in special projects as directed by management.
  • Answer general questions and provide information to patients and visitors.
  • Greet and direct patients to their destinations.
  • Perform reception responsibilities including answering phones and responding to inquiries.
  • Perform light typing and data entry as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of office experience in a clinical setting.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal secretarial training.
